Now, it's the first day of 2017. I just stayed at home with family last night and watched films.
When I had the budget, I always went away to 'quieter' country or place as I really don't like the 'over-happy, over-indulge, over-over' faces of the celebration.
Fire works for me are a waste of money! Hey, but that's just my opinion! The rest of the world can burn the money for all I care.
The only time I actually celebrated the new year's arrival was the millennium celebration in London year 2000, disappointed by the Millennium Bridge and The London Eye which were specially built for the event, surprise, surprise, didn't work! And had to be closed for further safety inspection and improvement!
As for the resolution, boring me always had the same ones minus one (trying to make more money which never happened despite working hard every year).
Personally, I want to get as fit and healthy as possible as in less than 4 years' time I'll be 50!!!!, do more 'back packing' holidays as I certainly can't afford the luxxxx anymore and one most important thing is to make more time for my family and closest friends/fans. That's all.
Not too ambitious and rather ordinary really. Happy New year once again and I promise this is the last 'new year wish' until next year!
